Old Belvedere Irish Internationals   03/02/2017

In a massive year for Women's Rugby in Ireland with the Women's Rugby World Cup kicking off in Dublin this August, no fewer than six Old Belvedere players are representing Ireland this Friday 3rd February (this evening) against Scotland in the opening Six Nations game at Broadwood Stadium, Glasgow.

KO is  at 6.35pm with RTE 2 showing the game live from 6.30pm.

Why not come down this evening and watch it in the clubhouse before the Senior XV take on UCD @ Anglesea Road. Familiar Belvo faces in green are Ailis Egan at No. 3, Mazzie Reilly at No. 5 & Nora Stapleton at No. 10.  We are thrilled to see Jenny Murphy, back from injury and fighting fit in the Centre at No.13.  New to Belvo but not to the Irish set up is speedster Ali Miller on the wing at No.11.  A very special congratulations to hooker Jennie Finlay, another new face to Belvo and in line to wear the green jersey for the first time. Jennie is named at No.16 as a front row replacement.

We also are very proud that Jack Conan has been selected on the Senior Mens Irish Squad for this Year's Six Nations and Tom de Jong has been selected on the Ireland Mens U20s squad.

All at Old Belvedere RFC wish our players the very best of luck over the course of their Six Nations campaign.

Regards
