Club Development
Dear Members,
As some of you are no doubt aware, we have had strong feedback from our players and members that, while we are blessed with a great location and three grass pitches, some of our facilities are not fit for purpose. Specifically identified were our dressing rooms, shower and toilet facilities and the lack of an all-weather pitch.
Over the period of the Club’s current strategic plan (2016-2019), it is the objective of the Club to provide the following new facilities. In order of priority, a phased build of:
1. Dressing rooms
2. Shower & toilet facilities
3. Medical room
4. One 4G pitch
We are now in full fundraising mode for the above developments and those of you who attended the recent Club information evening will have seen the plans and 3D model video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JNzpdBvpGo )
In Phase 1, the Club intends to refurbish and modernise our changing facilities.
Phase 2 of our development plan includes the construction of an all-weather4G pitch.
Phase 1 of the project is at an advanced stage and, subject to successful fundraising, it is anticipated that construction work would commence in the second quarter of 2016, with completion by the end of 2016.
We are now appealing to all members to make a contribution to the projects. We ask you to please consider assisting with our development project in any way you can. More details on how to donate are available in the attached documents.
