THE BELVO BRAWL
What a knockout of a night!!!!! Old Belvedere RFC hosted a white collar boxing event called The Belvo Brawl 2016 last Friday 9th September.
The event was organised by the playing members of OBRFC to help raise funds for the ongoing development of the Clubhouse. The ballroom was packed with cheering supporters all eager to see 24 of Belvo’s finest take each other in the Ring. What followed was a night of top class entertainment with 12 seriously impressive fights from the participating boxers.
Huge credit to the boxers and their coach John McEvoy from White Collar Boxing. They were fully dedicated and put in huge effort leading up to event, training twice a week on top of their rugby training for 8 weeks. John, through his gruelling training sessions, had everyone in tip-top shape for the night.
The organisers wish to thank all from White Collar Boxing.ie for facilitating a professional and hugely successful night, to Old Belvedere RFC for hosting the event, to all those who attended on the night and helped make such a brilliant atmosphere on the night. Finally a huge thanks to our sponsors on the night listed below and those who supported the event by buying tickets and sponsoring our Boxers and raffle. We couldn’t have done it without your kind and generous support.
