President's Message Dear Members, At our Club's recent AGM, it was my great privilege to be elected President of Old Belvedere. It is an immense honour to succeed Willie Norse in this role and I look forward building on Willie's great work in the year ahead. I also look forward to keeping you informed about developments in our Club. The Club's number one priority is to help our 1st XV regain its place in Division 1A of the All Ireland League, under the captaincy of Ed Rossiter, who will be assisted by his Vice Captains, Declan Lavery and Karl Miller, I am confident that we will succeed. We have an outstanding coaching set up, led by former Ireland international coach, Eddie O'Sullivan and I trust that this alone is a demonstration of our ambition. The following were  elected/appointed at the AGM. Karl Croke-Chairman of the Management Committee. David McGrath - Senior President Elect. Paul Cunningham - Junior  President Elect.  Frank Hayes-Honorary Secretary. Mick Doherty - Financial Controller.  John Mahony-Trustee (Director of the Trustee Company) Subscription rates for the 2017/2018 season have been held at last year's levels and hopefully you received an email from Ian Donnelly, our  Club Administrator, advising you of these rates. Annual Subscriptions   became due on June 1st. Typically, subscriptions are paid in September/October but in order to ease cash flow pressure over the summer months we are having a drive this year to get 100 subscriptions paid by the end of June. If you are in a position to pay your sub in June we would be very grateful. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the summer and I look forward to seeing you in our wonderful newly refurbished clubhouse next season. Best wishes James McCarthy President
