David Campese to take part in latest Old Belvedere webinar

Old Belvedere is delighted to announce that on Tuesday 18th May at 8.30 Andy Dunne will talk to the inimitable David Campese in the latest Old Belvedere webinar.

David Campese, known as Campo around the world, was the attacking genius of the 1991 Australian World Cup winning team. He played 101 times for Australia scoring 64 test tries (then a world record). In full flight he was utterly unstoppable, his weaving in-and-out runs and mesmerising footwork illuminated the final decade of amateur rugby. He was a mean kicker of a ball too, but above all it was his desire to attack from all areas of the pitch that scared opponents witless.

The son of a wine-making Italian immigrant, David is well known for his outspoken views. His distaste for ‘bash and recycle’ rugby is unsurprising when you consider the way he played the game himself. David is a man of strong opinions and we are delighted that he has agreed to share those opinions with Andy.
