The annual match for the Kevin Barry Trophy will take place at Ollie Campbell Park on Wednesday 21st with a 7pm kick off. There will be a pre-match reception for parents and supporters from 6.30 with mulled wine and mince pies being served.

After the match the Kevin Barry Trophy will be presented by Evanna Kennedy . Evanna's father, Dr. Gerry McAleer, was a classmate and best friend of Kevin Barry in Belvedere College and subsequently in UCD medical school. Kevin Barry wrote to Gerry on the eve of his execution and that letter is still in the possession of the Kennedy family.

Evanna herself has a very strong connection with both Belvedere College and Old Belvedere - she is the mother of Redmond Kennedy who played for Old Belvedere for many years. Redmond played in this fixture for Belvedere College 37 years ago and for Old Belvedere 36 years ago, Evanna's grandchildren Bohen and Cody are playing with Belvo minis - coached by Redmond.
