Tony O'Beirne Elected IRFU Committee Junior Vice President
Dear Members,
Our club representative Tony O'Beirne was elected Junior Vice President at the IRFU Council meeting on 1st August having been nominated by Declan Madden and seconded by Ollie Campbell.
The Club President, Paul Dowling, Management & General Committees and Members congratulate Tony on his election, which is a great honour for both him and the club.
Tony was elected to the IRFU Committee in 2016 and was appointed Chair of the National Professional Game Board in 2017. He has sat on many committees including the Management Committee, Finance Committee and Commercial & Marketing Committee. His dedication and professionalism is a credit to him, culminating in this worthy honour.
Tony is the 3rd club member to be elected to this position with Paddy Madigan and Barry Keogh preceding him. We in the club are very proud of Tony and wish him the very best of luck in this important and prestigious position.
