Jimmy Weldon

 

Recently Angus Roche introduced speaker Jimmy Weldon who left Belvedere College in 1964. Jimmy excelled at cricket and was a promising fast bowler. His father opened the well known jewellery shop off Clarendon Street in 1940 and Jimmy joined the business dealing in speciality silver. 

Jimmy spoke passionately and displayed and explained some of his interesting silver exhibits to the shed.
