Dear Members & Guests,

It is an honour and privilege to serve as President of Old Belvedere Rugby Club. I take great pride in following in the footsteps of the many distinguished people who have held this position before me and who have helped shape our great club into what it is today.

This year is particularly special for our club as one of our own, Tony O’Beirne, assumes the role of President of the IRFU. This is a tremendous honour for Tony, for his family, and for Old Belvedere Rugby Club. We are immensely proud of his achievement and wish him every success during his presidency.

Old Belvedere is much more than a rugby club. It is a community built on friendship, respect, inclusivity and a shared passion for our game. From our minis and youths to our senior players, coaches, volunteers, members and supporters, every person plays a vital role in maintaining the proud traditions and values that make this club so special.

As President, I look forward to supporting all sections of the club and celebrating the achievements, both on and off the field, that continue to define Old Belvedere. Our history is rich, but our future is equally exciting, and I am committed to helping ensure that the club continues to grow and thrive for generations to come.

Our people are our greatest strength.

It is the commitment, passion and generosity of our members and supporters that make Old Belvedere such a special club and continue to drive us forward. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our officers, coaches, players, our new captains, Jayden and Emma, and our wonderful band of volunteers every success for the season ahead.

I would also like to thank everyone who gives their time and energy so generously to Old Belvedere Rugby Club. The dedication of our volunteers, coaches, committee members, sponsors and supporters is the foundation of our success.

I look forward to meeting many of you throughout the season, sharing in the camaraderie that makes our club unique, and creating many more memorable moments together.
