Watch Live: 7 Belvo players named in Ireland v Canada RWC Training Match

Dear Members,

Old Belvedere RFC will once again have a strong presence in green today, with eight of our players named in Ireland’s matchday squad for their final Rugby World Cup warm-up game against Canada. The fixture takes place at 12pm in Affidea Stadium (formerly Kingspan Stadium).

In the starting XV, Aoife Dalton lines out at inside centre, with Dannah O’Brien retaining the No.10 jersey. The front row features Niamh O’Dowd and Linda Djougang, while Ruth Campbell partners Fiona Tuite in the second row. Brittany Hogan starts at No.8, bringing her leadership as Vice Captain and physicality to the back row.

This final warm-up match will be a key test ahead of next week’s Rugby World Cup squad announcement, with Head Coach Scott Bemand making 10 changes from last weekend’s win over Scotland.
