Dear Members, There are less than two weeks until the 2024/25 Energia AIL season kicks off! What’s even more exciting is that we start the season at home. Our Senior Men play UCC in round 1 on Saturday, September 21st. KO is 2.30pm in Ollie Campbell Park.

The club wishes to congratulate the 8 Belvo senior women’s players named in the Ireland Squad for tomorrow’s, Saturday 14th September, 150th Anniversary Test against Australia’s Wallaroos at Kingspan Stadium (Kick-off 2.30pm).

If you or anyone you know is interested in playing rugby, the senior women’s team, junior men’s, youth girls, youth boys, and minis teams are all welcoming new players across various age groups.
Please note the clubhouse is closed until August 19th. During this time, teams are training at St. Michael’s. Men’s – Tuesdays and Thursdays. Women’s – Mondays and Wednesdays.

REMINDER: Club closed Aug 10th-19th for Horseshow

Dear Members, Reminder that the club grounds and facilities are closed for the Horse Show week August 10th to 19th. During this time the teams will train in St Michaels. Men’s – Tuesdays and Thursdays. Women’s – Mondays and Wednesdays. If you are attending the horseshow, day parking is available on a first-come first-served basis. Payment for day parking will be taken at the gates.

Old Belvedere Players in all 4 provincial teams for the Vodafone

Dear members, This year Old Belvedere will be represented in all 4 provincial teams in the upcoming 2024 Vodafone Interprovincial Championship. Huge congratulations to all the players named on the squads. Only one of these games will be played in Dublin. Leinster v Connacht takes place this coming Saturday 10th August in Energia Park

Tony O’Beirne Elected IRFU Committee Junior Vice President
